Tox Info Suisse offers concierge services during out-of-office hours for in the event of emergencies. 

Process

1. Calls to your (pharmacovigilance) phone number during out-of-office hours are forwarded to Tox Info Suisse.
2. Tox Info Suisse answers the call and takes respective action as defined in the service agreement. 
3. Each call is reported to the company according to the terms of the service agreement.

Short description

Tox Info Suisse can arrange emergency orders of selected products during out-of-office hours. 
 
Process

1. Calls to the company's ordering hotline during out-of-office hours are forwarded to Tox Info Suisse
2. Tox Info Suisse arranges the emergency order as defined in the service agreement.
3. Each order received by Tox Info Suisse is reported to the company according to the terms of the service agreement.

Short description

Tox Info Suisse can perform emergency unblinding of clinical studies, or take the necessary steps to break the blinded code according to the service agreement.

Process

1. Physician calls dedicated phone number of Tox Info Suisse.
2. Tox Info Suisse unblinds the code as defined in the service agreement.
3. Each unblinding is reported to the company as defined in the service agreement.

Short description

Tox Info Suisse provides 24h-emergency consultation with regards to transportation of hazardous material.

Process

1. Call to the dedicated emergency number of Tox Info Suisse, which is noted on all transport documents.
2. Tox Info Suisse assesses the medical situation and takes the necessary action as defined in the service agreement.

Important

Pre-booking at least 7 days before the start of transport is mandatory.

Short description

Safety data sheets for hazardous substances must include a telephone number that can be reached around the clock for poisoning emergencies. Tox Info Suisse offers this emergency medical advice for safety data sheets circulating outside Switzerland*.

Process

1. The company deposits safety data sheets for its products with Tox Info Suisse.
2. Customer abroad calls the telephone number on the safety data sheet of the product.
3. Tox Info Suisse answers the customer's query in English, German or French based on the information provided on the safety data sheet.

*Good to know
Safety data sheets in circulation in Switzerland may bear the emergency number of Tox Info Suisse (Tel. 145) free of charge and without consultation with Tox Info Suisse. Funding is provided by the Federal Office of Public Health (FOPH) within the framework of the Chemicals Act.

Short description

Tox Info Suisse can provide analyses of calls regarding specific company products. Possible analyses include: number of calls, information on callers or patients (gender, age), situation (accidental, occupational, etc.), severity in cases involving medical intervention, circumstances of the accident, etc.

Process

1. Company submits a request for an analysis.
2. Tox Info Suisse prepares an offer based on the availability of the requested information, the desired level of detail and the estimated time required to process this data.
3. After acceptance of the offer by the company, Tox Info Suisse prepares the analysis.
